FAQs

Common questions

What is NDIS support coordination?

Support coordination helps you understand and use your NDIS plan. A support coordinator connects you with providers, helps you set and work toward goals, assists with appeals and plan reviews, and can step in during a crisis.

What is NDIS plan management, and how is it different from self-managing?

A plan manager pays your provider invoices, tracks your budget and handles NDIS claims on your behalf, while you keep the freedom to choose registered and unregistered providers. Self-managing means you pay providers and claim funds back yourself; plan management removes that admin without limiting your provider choice.

Does plan management cost me anything out of pocket?

No. Plan management is funded by the NDIA as a separate line item in every plan and does not reduce your other support budgets.

Can I use Kaya Care WA if I live outside Perth?

Yes. We deliver support coordination and plan management Australia-wide via telehealth, alongside in-person support across Perth Metro and southern suburbs.

What languages does Kaya Care WA support?

We provide support in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

How do I switch to Kaya Care WA from my current provider?

Submit a referral or contact us for a free consultation. We'll confirm your plan details and dates, then handle the changeover with your outgoing provider and the NDIA.
